| Alan Batu (Shorea Albida) |

Medium Density Hardwood.

Mostly for heavy construction, flooring, boat building. Currently, Thailand is using this timber for interior framing such as window frame, door frame, skirting.

Colour Of Timber : Dark Reddish Brown. Freshly cut surfaces appear glistening or wavy

| Kapur (Dryobalanops) |
- Medium Density Hardwood
- Mostly well adapted for medium-heavy construction under shelter. Roofing timbers, flooring and interior fittings, doors and windows frames, heavy duty flooring, veneer and plywood.
- Colour of Timber : Light Reddish Brown to Dark Reddish Brown. Freshly cut wood has a characteristic camphor – like odor.

| Keruing (Dipterocarpus spp.) |
- Medium Density Hardwood.
- A general purpose construction timber – beams, joists, rafters, partitions flooring, wharf and brodge decking.
- Dark Purple Red Brown or Light Red Brown, darkening on exposure. It is featureless except for occasional ribbon stripe.

| Keruntum (Combretocarpus Rotundatus) |
- Medium Density Hardwood.
- Though enough for railway sleeper. A useful heavy construction wood when treated with preservatives.
- Reddish Brown appearance. Quarter Sawn material has attractive figure similar to that of oak.

| Menggris / Kempas(Kompassia) |
- Medium Density Hardwood.
- Suitable for sleepers and a number of heavy construction uses such as dock blocks, bridge making and indoor construction such as roof rafters, trusses, beams and joists, window frame, flooring, axe handle etc.
- Brick Red when freshly sawn, weathering to orange red or reddish brown with paler brown liner. It has a stripe figure on radial surfaces.

| Tapang (Kompassia Excelsa) |
- Medium Density Timber
- Good strong general utility timber – for heavy interior construction, paneling, boat building and gun stocks. It is also suitable for sleepers if impregnated.
- Reddish Brown weathering to Deep Chocolate Brown. Ripple Marks prominent on longitudinal surfaces.

| Selangan Batu / Yellow Balau (Shorea Spp.) |
- Heavy Density Hardwood.
- First class heavy construction timber; railway sleepers, bridges, wharves, mining timbers, ship building.
- Yellow Brown when freshly cut, weathering to dark brown. Planed surfaces has medium luster and subtle stripe figure.

- Light Density Hardwood
- Suitable for joinery, furniture, shop and office fittings, counter tops, paneling, flooring, posts, beams and other building components, boat framing, decking, body work of lorry and truck.
- Red Brown weathering to Dark Red. Resin canals clearly seen on clear cut cross section as concentive series of white lines

Most sawn timber produced are for both interior and exterior use. Further down the line processes such as Surface 4 Side, Surface 2 Side, Kiln Dried, Tongue and Gloove are also available.
